GFA TEACHES BASIC FINANCES WITH LEMONADE STANDS
During the recent Kid Expo held at Mount Wachusett Community College, GFA Federal Credit Union taught basic finances with their kid-run lemonade stands. Teams of children ran the lemonade stands, scoring points for each cup of lemonade and sticker they gave away. GFA staff worked with the kids to teach them about income and expenses and helped them determine their net score after deducting the cost (in points) of their supplies.
