With our 24-hour, seven day a week, automated response system, members can conduct, over the telephone, any sort of financial transaction they need with GFA Federal Credit Union. Automated Teller Machines (ATM)

Use your MasterMoney Debit Card any time of the day or night at any of the thousands of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) worldwide that support the SUM, NYCE, or CIRRUS networks. ATMs also are located at each GFA branchYou can avoid ATM surcharges by using ATMs supported by the SUM network that display the logo below. Click on the logo to find the SUM machine closest to you.

 

 

Debit Cards

On the go and can’t get to the credit union? A Debit Card can be the solution. Accepted by millions of retailers who take MasterCard and hundreds of thousands of ATMs, our MasterMoney Debit Card reduces the need to carry cash most of the time.

  • WILL YOU BE TRAVELING?  If you are traveling outside of MA and NH; please review our Debit Card Restrictions.
  • If you are planning a trip overseas, please contact the Member Resource Department at 978-632-2542 to ensure that your debit card is not restricted in the area where you are traveling.
  • To activate your new GFA MasterMoney Debit Card, you need to conduct an inquiry or other transaction at any ATM.
  • You can change your PIN (Personal Identification Number) at any GFA ATM or by calling 800-448-8268.
  • GFA MasterMoney Debit Cards are accepted anywhere MasterCard is accepted.
  • Free, point-of-sale transactions.
  • Surcharge-free use of GFA ATMs and SUM ATMs.
  • Your monthly checking account statement will list all of the transactions you conduct with your MasterMoney Debit Card.  These transactions can be viewed anytime through GFA's Home Banking. 
  • The cards we issue are protected by Fraud Watch PLUS. If suspicious activity is noticed on your card, Fraud Prevention Services will call to notify you. If they can not reach you, they will temporarily block your card and leave a message to call them back at 1-866-842-5208.

Direct Deposit

Save time and money by having your payroll, pension, Social Security or other recurring check deposited electronically in your GFA Federal Credit Union account. Contact your employer, Social Security or Pension administrator to establish Direct Deposit to GFA Federal Credit Union. Our routing number is 211383066.


Insured Deposits

For your peace of mind, the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) insures the money you invest at GFA Federal Credit Union up to the maximum amount allowed by law. And regardless of where you live, GFA members also benefit from additional deposit coverage provided by the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC).

You earn Member Rewards as you utilize GFA products and services. You may qualify for Better Banking Rates* with a maximum .25% increase, as determined by the type of GFA products and services you utilize.  You qualify by maintaining of the following banking relationships:         
 
  • A GFA loan product (excluding Personal Credit Accounts), earns a .10% better banking rate increase or earn a .10% better banking rate increase for at least 5 years of GFA Membership.
  • Personal Checking Account with a direct deposit earns a .10% better banking rate increase.
  • Personal Checking Account with electronic statements earns a .05% better banking rate increase.                        

Another benefit of our program is that we’ve made it easy to use - you don’t have to track points or use coupons.  Your Member Rewards are calculated when you open a new certificate and we apply the rewards directly to your rate.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Enjoy secure access and peace of mind by placing your important documents or valuables in a safe deposit box. Our centrally located Parker Street Branch in Gardner offers safe deposit boxes in a variety of sizes.

Virtual Branch

In order to use our Virtual Branch, you must be a member of GFA Federal Credit Union. If you are not already a member, please stop by and visit any of our branch locations and open an account to get you started on the path toward financial security.

Wire Transfers

Transfers can be made by wire to or from your Checking or Share Account. Wire Transfers can be conducted when you need to quickly and conveniently move funds from one institution to another.Call us at 978-632-2542 or click here to print a wire transfer request form. In order to complete a wire transfer, member must deliver the request form in person to one of our branch locations. You may also mail or fax the form that has been properly notarized.A fee will be charged to your account for this service.
