Loan Servicing Specialist
GFA is looking for an organized and proficient individual to join our lending team.
The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for assisting members with lending needs while operating within GFA's established set of policies and procedures. This individual will provide loan servicing and maintenance support to GFA's residential, commercial, and consumer direct and indirect portfolio loans.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure the proper reporting and recording of all monies collected/due that are associated with the real estate portfolio, including but not limited to: Attorney fees, appraisal fees, mortgage insurance premiums, flood certifications and real estate taxes.
- Process loan payoffs. Forward paid loan notes and discharges with corresponding recording to the Registry of Deeds in a prompt and timely manner.
- Review account notification changes.
- Prepare and submit monthly PMI, hazard tracking, Life/disability premiums to the appropriate vendors.
- Provides coverage for other lending personnel during absences.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in lending, general banking, or equivalent.
