GFA raised funds for the Rutland, MA 4th of July Celebration.

As part of our commitment to our local communities in which we serve, GFA held a promotion to help raise money for the Rutland 4th of July Committee. Each year the town holds four days of town events ranging from a road race, chicken BBQ band concert, fireworks, and a parade. The Rutland 4th of July Committee depends on local business sponsors to help defray the cost of this event.
GFA is excited to announce raising $670.00 during the Rutland branch promotion. During the months of May and June, each member that opened a new account, was approved for a loan or mortgage; GFA donated up to $100 for each transaction.
"The Rutland team spent the months of May and June reaching out to residents and businesses raising awareness of the initiative. Our staff visited the library, restaurants, stores and other businesses in town to hand out flyers, giving people the opportunity to refer a friend for the promotion. We are so glad we were able to help out out community and raise funds to keep this event going in the future", said Heidi Williams, Rutland Branch Manager.
