Gardner, MA – Coordinating a massive construction project is no easy task, but that is exactly what Jon C. Wyman of Westminster was hired to do.  He has been hired by the credit union as Vice President/Construction Management.  GFA will soon begin demolition of the back side of the current building at 229 Parker Street.  Mr. Wyman will orchestrate the several phase project which will take 12-18 months to complete.

Jon has extensive experience in managing large scale construction projects, he most recently completed the 40,000  square foot addition of the science center at Mount Wachusett Community College.

“Given Jon’s extensive background in Project Management, I know we have hired the right man for the job.  His accomplishments speak for themselves and he has hit the ground running since joining our team.  Jon has made quick work of getting the main office construction moving, he has been a great liaison between our construction group and our staff,” said Tina M. Sbrega, President & CEO of GFA Federal Credit Union.

Mr. Wyman is a resident of Westminster where he resides with his wife.  He has a Master of Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Construction Management Degree from the University of Florida.  He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy; he was awarded several military awards including: Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Metal, Meritorious Service Medal with gold star, Navy Commendation Medal with gold star, and Navy Achievement Medal.
