GFA Supports Rutland’s 4th of July Celebration
The Rutland Fourth of July Committee has organized and raised money for this several day event each year. Activities include a road race, pie eating contest, volleyball, baseball, and softball tournaments, a parade, and of course fireworks.
GFA’s Rutland branch has been a part of the community since 2004, each year the branch has participated in the activities, parade, and sponsorship. “Our branch has participated in the Fourth of July celebration for nine years and I am proud that GFA is part of this community celebration.
Being a resident of Rutland, it makes being a part of this event so much more special.” said Tracy Sasseville, GFA’s Rutland Branch Manager.
The committee depends on donations from individuals and local businesses. Ms. Sasseville and her team ran several promotions throughout the month to raise money to go toward next year’s festivities. The Rutland branch presented Ms. Puliafico with a check for $750.
