GFA Welcomes Robert Landstein as SVP/Chief Information Officer

GFA Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Robert Landstein has joined as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer.

GFA's technology and information team is dedicated to ensuring data security, safeguarding member information, and maintaining financial system integrity. Mark Hettinger, GFA President and CEO stated, “Rob is a proven technology leader whose strategic perspective, commitment to operational excellence, and collaborative leadership approach will continuously evolve the technology focus at GFA. His proven innovation expertise will be instrumental in navigating through the advancing digital realm. His knowledge of and commitment to cyber security provides us great comfort knowing we are protecting the confidential information of our members and our credit union.”

Robert, with a lifelong passion for technology, holds a Computer Science degree from Columbia University. After gaining valuable experience in technology management, he pursued an MBA to deepen his understanding of business and finance. Robert stated, “In today’s landscape, the synergy between technology and the finance industry is indispensable. We must embrace collaboration to unlock innovation, efficiency, and a deeper understanding of the evolving financial ecosystem. I look forward to collaborating with the GFA team to deliver innovative solutions that improve the experience for our members and employees.”

Throughout his career, Robert has achieved significant milestones including fortifying cybersecurity tools for enhanced consumer information protection, leading technology teams to deliver pioneering solutions, and designed and implemented a Digital Product Management team to ensure optimal consumer experience through digital products. In the rapidly expanding digital landscape, Robert has led teams to consistently strive to learn and explore emerging technologies.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Robert enjoys hobbies such as skiing, hiking, fitness, walking his dogs, engaging in brain games, and reading. He currently resides in Sharon, MA with his wife and three children.
