GFA Appoints Czasnowski to Board of Directors, and Catlin and Cormier to Supervisory Committee

GFA Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Brooke Czasnowski to the Board of Directors from her previous position on the Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee, and welcomes Jacob Cormier and Allie Catlin to the Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee.

The Supervisory Committee plays an integral part of GFA Federal Credit Union, ensuring regular financial audits, regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and helps the credit union maintain overall accountability and transparency. The Supervisory committee is essential for ensuring GFA operates in a sound, ethical and compliant manner for all members.

Her leadership and expertise with financial reporting and organizational management strengthen our Board," said Douglas Delay, GFA Chairman of the Board of Directors, "I am confident that her contributions will continue to propel GFA towards even greater achievements in our mission to earn the trusted position as a financial solutions partner, for all life's occasions, while remaining invested in our communities.”

Brooke Czasnowski, an Ashburnham resident, currently is the Assistant General Manager of the Ashburnham Municipal Light plant, and a member of GFA’s Supervisory Committee. She attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management & Economics from West Virginia Wesleyan College, received her Master of Business Administration degree from Fitchburg State University, and holds a Certificate in Accounting from Assumption College.

Jacob Cormier, a Templeton resident, is the owner and director of Boucher Funeral Home, and the current president of the Gardner Square Two board of directors. He attained his Bachelor of Science in Funeral Home Management, and Master of Science in Management from Mount Ida College.

Allie Catlin, a Winchendon resident, is the owner of Smith’s Country Cheese, and current board member of the Massachusetts Cheese Guild. She attained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Franklin Pierce University, and a Master of Science in Crime & Justice Studies from Suffolk University.

Their diverse expertise and fresh perspectives will undoubtedly strengthen our commitment to serving our members with excellence.
