During the month of December GFA Federal Credit Union’s newly opened Peterborough branch celebrated by having members vote for their favorite non-profit; the options were the Peterborough Historical Society, the Humane Society of Peterborough, or the Peterborough Food Pantry.  It was a very close race, but the Peterborough Food Pantry earned the most points and is the recipient of a $500.00 donation from GFA.

The Food Pantry provides food and services to 13 local area towns in the Conval, Jaffrey-Rindge, and Mascenic school districts.

“The Peterborough Food Pantry is a wonderful organization that helps many people in the area.  We hope this donation will help the needs of those less fortunate and GFA looks forward to more opportunities to give back to the Peterborough community,” said Tina M. Sbrega, President and CEO of GFA Federal Credit Union.
